FAT DISSOLVING

PROCESS

The desired area to be injected will be cleaned, and the Fat Dissolving injections will be injected into the fat cells using a very fine needle. You’ll need injections in different places, depending on the area being treated.

Anaesthetic: Numbing Cream can be applied however most times this is not needed.

RISK

The risks of Fat Dissolving Injections are small as this is done by our qualified and experienced nurse. After your treatment you may have:

  1. Bruising, swelling and redness where the needles went in the skin.
  2. Slight pain nothing major or severe.

RESULTS

You will not see a change straight away. It takes roughly 5 – 10 days to see results. The more sessions you do will determine how effective your results will turn out.  You must avoid vigorous exercise for the next ten days after your treatment, sunbathing (including using sunbeds), and the sauna for 2 days.

DURATION OF THE RESULTS

While results can’t be compared to surgical liposuction, where large amounts of fat are permanently removed from the body, the results of fat dissolving injections are still permanent depending on your eating and drinking habits. As with all medical therapies there is no guarantee of fully successful treatment. Some patients get good results from a single treatment, but many required 2-3 treatments.  Up to 8 sessions are required for body areas. The recommended interval between repeat treatment is 10 – 14 days.
